Home Damaged in West St. Paul Fire, But No Injuries

The Inver Grove Height fire department responded to the blaze, according to police scanners.

A West St. Paul house fire caused extensive damage to a home on the 200 block of Annapolis Street but nobody was injured, according to media reports. Five people escaped the fire uninjured, KSTP reported, and by the time crews arrived, there was only smoke visible, according to CBS Minnesota. The Inver Grove Heights fire department responded around 4:30 a.m. this morning, according to police scanners.

I hear on the scanner quite often IGH/WSP departments helping each other, it really isn't that uncommon ... It's pretty rare to hear St. Paul cross over to help, more the police than the fire dept. - don't know why.   more ›
