Trampoline Park Could Open by March in Mendota Heights

The city council's approved a permit and a Texas developer is looking to finalize a lease on Pilot Knob Road.

The Mendota Heights city council has approved a conditional use permit for a trampoline park in an industrial building located at 2250 Pilot Knob Road, according to the Star Tribune. Curt Skallerup, the owner of Altitude Trampoline Parks, is working on finalizing the lease, but if the deal goes through, Mendota Heights' trampoline park could be open by March and look something like the Sky Zone park shown above that opened in Oakdale in 2011. The Star Tribune has more on what the park will look like: It will be smaller than one Skallerup plans to open in suburban Dallas in February but will have similar features, like floor-to-wall trampolines and foam pits for tumbling.
