Video: Mendota Elementary Kids Show Off Dance

A Mendota Elementary second-grader turns his prize from a "Lemonade Mouth" promotion into a treat for the whole school.

Mendota Elementary second-grader Harrison Berg had a lucky day that then turned into a lucky day for the school's music room and the student body. At an event at Rosedale Mall thrown last year by Radio Disney to promote the movie "Lemonade Mouth," Harrison won the grand raffle prize of $500 for himself and $500 for his school's music program. After conferring with Mendota Elementary Principal Steve Goldade and music teacher Mark Scroggins, the $500 was split between two projects. Half of the funds were used to purchase a set of 30 egg-shakers for percussion lessons, as well as one small bass drum, according to Goldade. The rest was dedicated to share Harrison's passion for dancing. (He's the one leading in front.) The school hired dance …
