Overtime Unkind to Henry Sibley Girls Hockey
Warriors grapple with third overtime loss this season. Their record stands at 1-4-1 after a 3-2 loss to Hopkins.
In the working world, when you put in overtime, you get a little extra in return. Unfortunately for the Henry Sibley girls' hockey team, those rules don't always apply in competition. For the third time in six games this season, the Warriors took an opponent to overtime. And once again, they emerged without a win to show for their efforts. Hopkins junior forward Alli Rolandelli supplied all of her team's goals, including the overtime winner, as the Royals defeated Sibley 3-2 Tuesday Nov. 30 at West St. Paul Ice Arena. It was another frustrating outing for the Warriors, whose record now stands at 1-4-1. All four losses have been by one goal.
