Bites Nearby: Bierstube's Reuben Omelet Breakfast

Authentic German food and a few original variations.

The Bierstube opened in Hastings in 1962, built a location in Inver Grove Heights in 1983, and still offers an amazing Reuben sandwich alongside their authentic German cuisine. Originally known for their burgers, Rachels, Reubens and sizzling steaks, the Bierstube began offering authentic German meals and even trips to Germany itself. Last spring they turned their most popular dish into a breakfast item, and the Reuben omelet was born. While the omelet itself is delightful, a side of pumpernickel toast almost grabs the spotlight from the main item.  Be warned, the Reuben omelet is a breakfast item only, and if you arrive after breakfast, you may want to try the Reuben or the Reuben burger to get your fix.
