The first meeting of the new school year takes on school board compensation and department staffing
The West St. Paul-Mendota Heights-Eagan School Board will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 5 at Mendota Heights City Hall. Superintendent Dr. Nancy Allen-Mastro is scheduled to give her report, which will be followed by discussions regarding the district's lease with Apple, and a second reading of the the district's wellness program. The meeting will also cover issues related to school board compensation and Curriculum and Human Resources department staffing. Traffic safety committee recommendations are scheduled to be approved.
The Mendota Heights City Council is scheduled to meet at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7 at Mendota Heights City Hall. The meeting will begin an hour later than usual to accomodate Night to Unite events in the city. On the consent agenda, the council is expected to accept a feasibility report for the Crown Point Drive and Overlook Road neighborhood street rehabilitation project. A public hearing will be scheduled for the projects. The council wil be reviewing a number of recommendations from the traffic safety committee. A closed session is scheduled to follow the meeting for discussion of an assessment appeal by a homeowner on Wagon Wheel Trail. The West St. Paul-Mendota Heights-Eagan School Board is scheduled to meet 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6 at Mendota Heights City Hall.
