St. Thomas Academy is a private, Catholic, military day academy attended by boys from throughout the metro area. TheMore school emphasizes its college-preparatory curriculum as well as its leadership-oriented JROTC program. The school became an independent institution and moved to its current location next to Rogers Lake in 1965. STA's sister school, Convent of the Visitation, resides next door. The school was originally founded in Saint Paul as a seminary in 1885 by Bishop John Ireland. The "Cadets" compete as part of the Classic Suburban Conference.

All District 197 students arrive at the doors of Henry Sibley High School for their high school education. The schoolMore has been open since 1954, and its current facilities were built in 1971. The school offers a comprehensive selection of classes including electives, languages and Advanced Placement opportunities. Technology such as SMARTboards, LCD projectors and laptop carts are available in classrooms. 

The Henry Sibley "Warriors" logo was redesigned in 2009 and features a knight. The Warriors compete in the Classic Suburban Conference.
