The Mendota Heights Fire Department serves Mendota Heights, Mendota, Sunfish Lake and Lilydale. The department of 36 is staffed entirely by trained volunteers, including Chief John Maczko. In addition to traditional fire apparati, the department also has a variety of other response vehicles, including equipment for water rescue.
