Brief: Mano a Mano Enters DoGooder Nonprofit Video Awards

Their work building roads and clinics could be featured on the YouTube home page.

Mendota Heights nonprofit has entered the DoGooder Nonprofit Video Awards on Youtube. 

Mano a Mano helps build roads, health clinics and schools in rural Bolivia, the home country of co-founder Segundo Velasquez. (Check out our from last year.)

The nonprofit is entered in the medium-size category for nonprofits with budgets of $1 million-$5 million.

Sixteen finalists will be chosen by a panel on March 12, and the competition will be open for public voting March 14-28. 

Winning videos will be featured on the YouTube home page on April 5. Winners will also receive $3,500 and products from Cisco; as well as recognition and free registration at the Nonprofit Technology Conference in San Francisco.
