Be a Positive Influence as a Mentor to Matt

Nonprofit Kids 'n Kinship has mentoring opportunities available in the south metro.

Almost 50 south metro kids are waiting for an adult mentor through nonprofit Kids 'n Kinship. Mendota Heights-area adults are invited to consider becoming a mentor in the lives of these children.

Interests: Matt enjoys riding his bike, being active outdoors and playing board games indoors.

Personality: Matt is friendly and talkative. He has occasional behavior struggles and is working hard on his positive behavior.

Goals: Matt will be in kindergarten this fall and he would like to learn more about basketball and soccer.

Looking For: An individual or couple who shares his interests; his older brother has a mentor.

For More Information: Matt is one of almost 50 children waiting for a mentor through , a private nonprofit serving Apple Valley, Burnsville, Eagan, Farmington, Lakeville and Rosemount in Dakota County for 39 years. If you're interested in becoming a mentor, you're invited to attend an information session from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. March 27 at the Wescott Library in Eagan. Mentors can volunteer as individuals, couples, or families for weekly fun and enriching activities at home or in the community on their own schedules.
