BOYS BASKETBALL
Henry Sibley opened the season with an 84-72 loss to Chanhassen on Friday.

Adam Huessner led the Warriors with 21 points.

Sibley will visit Prior Lake on Tuesday.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Henry Sibley fell to 0-3 on the season with pair of losses in its weekend tournament. On Friday, the Warriors were nipped by Hastings, 66-62. They lost to East Ridge, 66-42, on Saturday.

Kaitlyn McKay scored a team-high 11 points for Sibley against East Ridge.

Sibley will host Eagan on Tuesday.

BOYS HOCKEY
Henry Sibley earned its first victory of the season on Saturday with a 4-0 shutout over St. Paul Johnson.

Scoring goals for the Warriors (1-1) were Jake Jaeger, unassisted; Jack Coleman, with assists from Ty Tostrud and Austin Westman; T.J. Lang, with assists from Westman and Noah Nelson; and Westman, with an assist from Nelson.

Sibley will visit Chaska on Tuesday.

GIRLS HOCKEY
Henry Sibley had its four-game winning streak stopped with a 5-1 defeat at Irondale on Saturday.

Scoring for the Warriors (4-2) was Erin Meyers. Goalie Julia Wetzel-Edstrom stopped 20 of 25 Irondale shots.

Sibley will visit North St. Paul on Tuesday.
