School District Interest Revives Ice Arena Idea
West St. Paul-Mendota Heights-Eagan School District and its communities would share construction costs to replace the West St. Paul Ice Arena.
The cost to build a new $4 million to $9 million ice arena could be shared by the West St. Paul-Mendota Heights-Eagan School District and nearby communities under a revived plan to replace the West St. Paul Ice Arena, the Star Tribune reported.
The Mendota Heights City Council will take up the arena plan again at its meeting Tuesday, according to the Star Tribune. “One of the things our City Council is grappling with is trying to find out what the need is,” City Administrator Justin Miller told the newspaper.
