PHOTOS: Warriors and Cadets Compete at Conference Track and Field Champs

Henry Sibley and St Thomas Academy traveled to Tartan on Thursday to compete at the track and field Classic Suburban Conference  track and field championships. Prelims were held at Tartan on Tuesday.

Sibley girls team placed fifth with 90 points and the Sibley boys team also placed fifth with 88 points. The STA boys team placed sixth with 85 points.

Henry Sibley highlights from Thursday: 

• Brandon Twiss placed second in the boys high jump. 
• Trey Johnson was first in the boys 100 and 200 meter dash.
• The girls were first in the 4x800 relay.
• Michelle Johnson was first in the girls 400 meter dash and second in the 200 meter dash.
• Audra Richards was first in the girls 100 meter dash.
• Angie Prell placed second in the girls 100 meter dash.
• The girls were first in the 4x200 meter relay.
• The boys placed second in the 4x200 relay

STA individual highlights from Thursday:

• Connor Guidera placed third in the boys long jump.
• David Miller was first in the boys 800 meter run.
• Tommy Thuente was first in the boys 110 meter and 300 meter hurdles.

Top team honors went to North St Paul girls with 147 points and the North St Paul boys with 194 points.
