Photos: STA Fends Off Rival Henry Sibley 66-58

The boys’ basketball team took care of business on their home court Tuesday night against Classic Suburban rival . The Cadets downed the Warriors 66-58.

STA led throughout the game but had trouble putting the Warriors away until sealing the victory with free throws at the end. 

Henry Sibley junior Adam Huessner scored 21 points to help keep the Warriors within striking distance. But 29 points from Cadets senior Thomas Sjoberg proved too much to overcome.

St. Thomas Academy improved to 9-4 on the season (5-1 in Classic Suburban play) with the victory. Henry Sibley falls to 7-8 (3-3). 

The Cadets play Friday at home against Hill-Murray. Henry Sibley hosts South St. Paul, also on Friday.
