The Mendota Heights intra-city rivalry between St. Thomas Academy and Henry Sibley High School can create an event out of any matchup. The addition of Timberwolves mascot Crunch at the boys basketball game Friday Feb. 4 helped create a festive, high-energy atmosphere for fans and players alike. The drama was intensified by the the close game—Sibley pulled ahead to win the game 45-44.
