Lucas Leads Henry Sibley Swimmers in JV Meet

Henry Sibley High School ninth-grader Jason Lucas finished second in the 200-yard individual medley to pace the Warriors in the Classic Suburban Conference boys swimming and diving meet Thursday at Veterans Memorial Community Center in Inver Grove Heights.

Lucas was second in a time of 2:34.95.

The Warriors swam to a fifth-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle with Lucas, Nick Reis, Jacob Garr and Danny Erdman clocking a 1:59.99 time.

Henry Sibley was sixth in the 200-yard medley relay in 2:25.38 with the team of Sully Brooks, Reis, Garr and Chance Brost.

St. Thomas Academy of Mendota Heights dominated the meet with wins in 10 of 12 events.
