Henry Sibley Football Opens With Deja-Vu Loss
Warriors quickly fall behind South St. Paul in the first half.
The Henry Sibley football team opened up the 2011 season with a 35-0 loss to South St. Paul on the road Thursday.
The Warriors (0-1, 0-1 Classic Suburban Conference) fell behind 28-0 at halftime. It is Sibley’s second straight season losing to the Packers on the season’s opening night. Last year, the Warriors lost 41-13 at home.
Henry Sibley’s next game is at home against Hill-Murray. The Warriors will host the Pioneers at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9.
