Mendota Heights Parks and Rec/Cliff Timm Memorial Fishing Derby

Cliff Timm Memorial Fishing Derby Wednesday, June 27

Bring your fishin' pole and come on down to the Roger's Lake fishing pier to try to catch the big one!  No experience or MN fishing license needed (as long as the child is the one fishing!)  Just bring your own pole and a pail (to keep your fish alive)  and we will supply corn or worms.

¨ Each participant will receive their own tackle box filled with goodies

¨ Two grand prizes (drawing) include a Lifetime MN Fishing License and a half day fishing excursion on the St. Croix for 3 people courtesy of fishing pro Kenny O

¨ Refreshments courtesy of Fischerville Coffee Shop

¨ The derby is sponsored by Cliff Timm Trust, Gander Mountain, Kipp family and Midwest Extreme Outdoors.

When: Wednesday, June 27  Ages 14 & under (parent/guardian must accompany participants) 

Fee: $8.00 per child (fee is non-refundable)

Time: 5:30 to 5:50 p.m. check-in, 6:00 p.m. fishing begins, 7:00p.m. awards and prizes.     

Must pre-register at city hall or online, no registrations taken at the derby!
