Earth Day Celebration

Join Dodge Nature Center for our annual Earth Day volunteer event.

Volunteers will arrive at 5:15 to enjoy a burger or hot dog off the grill and then head out on the grounds for some earth day activities.  Note that this is an evening event this year.

Help us celebrate Earth Day by removing European buckthorn and other invasive species.  Other projects that evening may include litter pick-up, preschool clean-up and garden bed preparation.

Volunteers are also encouraged to invite friends, co-workers, and neighbors to become involved with the removal of buckthorn.  If you are an individual, group leader, corporate volunteer leader, or want your family to get involved with volunteering, this is a great opportunity.
