Nine students and five chaperones from Visitation School in Mendota Heights will travel to Mutomo, Kenya, in June to help the Sisters of Mercy in their work with AIDS patients and orphans. To raise money for the Sisters of Mercy, the students will sponsor a 5K Fun Run/Walk at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, starting at Visitation School in Mendota Heights. There will also be a one-mile course for younger participants. The cost per person for the Run/Walk is $20. Every participant who signs up will receive a Team Mutomo t-shirt and snacks.
