Video: Meet District 197's Interim Superintendent
District 197 released this video Friday to put a face with the name of Tom Nelson.
Meet new interim superintdent, . In this video posted on the district's YouTube channel, Nelson responds to a few questions and invites members of the community to introduce themselves.
"As an interim you always hope to leave a district a little better than when you found it," says Nelson.
Nelson was to the position Aug. 1 by the school board. His first day was Tuesday.
