Video: Friendly Hills WWII and Holocaust Museum

Eighth-graders displayed projects from social studies and language arts classes about the time period.

A World War II and Holocaust museum popped up at last Friday with the help of the eight-grade class.

Eighth-grade social studies and language arts students presented a multitude of displays as well as student-made movies showcasing information about WWII and the Holocaust. Topics ranged from modern-day genocide issues to Japanese internment camps.

The "Days of Remembrance" for Holocaust awareness has been designated by Congress as the week of April 19.
