The play stars Connor O’Leary as Don, Megan Rogers as Sis, Celia Knieff as Mom and Jack Schuleman as Dad.

“It’s funny,” said Sabrina Epou, who plays a dual role of Mrs. Johnson and a clerk. “It’s a comedic play, and a lot of people can relate to it because it’s about family and a lot of experiences that family go through.”

The character Don Browning is a newspaper columnist who returns to his hometown in Iowa, finds the urn with his father’s ashes that's spent three years in the basement of his old home and sets out to discover the right "final resting place" for its contents.  In the process, he recalls the summer road trips of his youth, with his family on vacation in the family station wagon.

“I read this play last year and thought it was very interesting,” said director Erica Ramisch. “... I thought it was really funny and I know it will appeal to a whole lot of people because everybody’s gone on a road trip, whether it’s with your family or not. And there are instances that everybody can relate to.

“It’s very light-hearted, but it has some serious qualities,” Ramisch added.
