How to Get a Lender to Say Yes—Library classes provide the basics

Learn what it takes to launch and grow a small business with free classes offered by WomenVenture and Dakota County Library. 

“How to Get a Lender to Say Yes” will demonstrate what makes an effective business loan proposal and provide tips on small business financing and underwriting. Tuesday, April 24 and May 1, 6:30–8 p.m., Farmington Library, 508 Third Street, Farmington.

“How to Write a Business Plan” will provide tips on planning a practical business model that will help your business stand out in a positive, concise and persuasive way. Tuesday, March 6 and 13, 6:30-8 p.m., Burnhaven Library, 1101 W. County Rd. 42, Burnsville. 

“How to Finance Your Business” will teach strategies for getting money from the right sources including banks, non-profit lenders, grants and more. Monday, April 2 and 9, 1:30–3 p.m., Wentworth Library, 199 E. Wentworth Ave., West St. Paul.
