From November 18-22 all District 197 schools will open their doors to offer open house and informational events for families interested in enrollment for 2014-15. We invite parents to learn how we offer students a personalized, technology-infused education that emphasizes 21st century skills such as creativity, collaboration, communication and critical thinking. Our highly qualified, caring teachers focus on the social, emotional and academic growth of each child at every level, kindergarten through grade 12.
Our school showcase events are open to all non-enrolled resident and non-resident families. Currently enrolled families with students transitioning to 5th (middle school) or 9th grade (high school) are also invited to attend. During your visit you will have an opportunity to meet the school principal, tour the building, learn about curriculum and discover our specialized programs, such as our magnet schools.
Pre-registration (RSVP) for each event is encouraged, but not required.
