Video: Lilydale Reception Honors Departing City Administrator

Lilydale City Council, staff and a few other city hall regulars gathered at Monday night to recognize outgoing city administrator Teish Stafne.

that she will be moving to Iowa once the city's annual audit is finished.

Guests enjoyed wine, cheese and conversation before sharing a few toasts and memories of Stafne's work with the city.

Stafne became the city's lone employee in 2009, and helped oversee an overhaul of the city's budget and records management.

, the city clerk/administrator of Hampton, is training in as Stafne's replacement, and her first day is scheduled to be Jan. 1, 2012.

The city's front office is being bolstered through the transition by Mendota's clerk, Jennifer Bruestle, as well as Lilydale's part-time employee, Lois Owen.
