Minute with the Mayor: Designating Mendota's Jail as a Historic Site

Mendota Heights Patch sits down with the mayors of Mendota Heights, Mendota and Lilydale for regular city updates—all in about a minute.

Several community-oriented projects are underway in Mendota, says Mayor Brian Mielke in this week's Minute with the Mayor.

City council member and Parks Commissioner Adam Strain organized a clean-up day last Saturday. He says he expects to organize a few more before the city picnic in September.

Mendota staff and elected officials are researching how to get the Mendota Jail on Highway 13 dedicated as a historic site.
