Minute with the Mayor: Bluff Erosion Scope Expands

Concerns about how to maintain and restore the integrity of Lilydale's bluffline have risen to Lilydale City Hall, where Mayor Anita Pampusch has begun working with condo and home associations along the river to bring stakeholders together.
Since beginning the process, property owners have brought additional factors into the discussion, including the presence of invasive species, and the careful work needed to remove and then replace invasive plant life.
Pampusch said she will continue to plan a meeting for community members as well as the government agencies involved to create solutions.
