Mendota Heights City Council Agenda for Oct. 18

The council meets at 7 p.m. to consider a number of upcoming road projects and to hear a presentation on the District 197 levy referendum.

The Mendota Heights City Council is scheduled to meet 7 p.m. Oct. 18 at Mendota Heights City Hall.

On the consent agenda:

  • Approval of upgrades to the restrooms at Kensington Park
  • Support of the draft 2012-2016 Dakota County Capital Improvement Plan. The plan includes a North Urban Regional Trail connection to be constructed in 2013 somewhere between Highway 110 and Marie Avenue.

  • District 197 Superintendent Tom Nelson is scheduled to make a presentation on the upcoming levy referendum.
  • The council will continue to discuss the proposed for 2012, and traffic-calming measures proposed by residents.
  • The council is also slated to consider a resolution requesting a speed study be done on Lexington between Highway 110 and Marie Avenue.
