Hansen Schedules Coffee Talk

Rep. Rick Hansen (D-District 39A) has scheduled the second of his constituent "office hours" to be held through the district for this Sunday, March 27. Anyone from the district may stop by Amore Coffee in West St. Paul from 2-4 p.m.

Hansen said he had good turnout for the first office hours held at in Lilydale last month. The specter of weekends spent in session and committee hearings at the Capitol have put a damper on scheduling out the next public meetings too far in advance, said Hansen.

“Budget discussions have heated up in recent weeks, with Republicans aiming to cut funding for education, transit, the environment, health care, and local government aid,” said Hansen in the statement accompanying the announcement. “I encourage my constituents to attend and offer their questions, comments, and concerns. Their voices are essential in ensuring that we end up with a final budget solution that contains their values and priorities.”
