Joe Atkins Annual State Fair Town Meeting

In addition to corn dogs, cows, and carnival games, local residents will be able to share their questions and concerns at the Minnesota State Fair with State Representative Joe Atkins.  Atkins will hold a town meeting at the State Fair on Thursday, August 23rd.

Atkins expects to keep the gathering informal. “This is just a chance for folks to talk about what’s on their mind," said Atkins. “We want to make it a comfortable place for people to ask questions and share concerns.”

Representative Atkins will be holding more town meetings closer to home this fall, but thought the “Great Minnesota Get Together” would be a good place to get together with constituents attending the Fair to talk about topics like jobs, the economy, and education.
