Dakota County Property Taxes Due May 15

Mendota Heights area property owners have several payment options through Dakota County.

Mendota Heights property owners take note: Property taxes for the first six months of 2012 are due to Dakota County by Tuesday, May 15.

If you’re using snail mail to pay your statement, make sure it’s postmarked by midnight, May 15.  

Any late payments will be assessed a penalty, which is listed on the back of the statements sent out a few months ago.

Property owners can also pay using credit card, e-check, and a direct pay option by visiting Dakota County's website. Payments by phone can be made by calling 1-866-366-5191.

A convenience fee will be charged for phone and credit card payments.

West St. Paul Northern Service Center (service desk)

1 Mendota Road West, West St. Paul

8 a.m.–4 p.m. Monday through Friday

Apple Valley Western Service Center (service desk)

14955 Galaxie Ave, Apple Valley

8 a.m.–4 p.m. Monday through Friday

Hastings Administration Center (Property Taxation & Records Office)

1590 Highway 55, Hastings

8 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
