Upcoming: Mendota Heights Fire Department Open House

The annual event is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 12.

The Mendota Heights Fire Department will be hosting their annual Fire Prevention Open House 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, according to the city website.

The open house will be at the fire hall, located at 2121 Dodd Road.

There will be a brief ceremony at 10 a.m. to honor fallen firefighters. Tour the station, take a ride on a fire truck, play games and have a free hot dog and pop.

There will also be a home sprinkler demonstration at 2:30 p.m., according to the city of Mendota Heights Facebook page.
