Schultz Sentenced to 30 Days for Sending Naked Pictures to 17-Year-Old Student

Jenna Anne Schultz, 27, a former student teacher at Simley High School, was sentenced to 30 days in jail for sending a naked photo of herself to a 17-year-old male student.

A 27-year-old former Simley High School student teacher who pleaded guilty to sending naked pictures of herself to a 17-year-old student was sentenced Tuesday to 30 days behind bars and two years probation.

Jenna Anna Schultz, 27, of Minnetonka, pleaded guilty in November to contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

As part of her sentence, she was ordered to pay restitution, complete a
chemical dependency evaluation and pay a fine of $500, according to a press release from the Dakota County Attorney’s office.

“We are pleased to hold this offender accountable for these troubling acts,” Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom said in a statement.

Schultz was charged May 25 with two counts of felony stalking and a count of contributing to the deliqunency of a minor after sending the teenage boy a series of explicit messages via Facebook.

According to the criminal complaint in the case, Facebook messages from Schultz to the student became progressively more graphic and culminated with a photo of her completely naked.

In a post-arrest interview, Schultz told police she did not recall sending the student the photo or texting him. She chalked up the alleged behavior to being "really drunk."  

Hennepin County Sheriff's deputies executed a search warrant on Schultz's home and vehicles on June 12.
