March 20

A black Suburban drove off from Holiday on Highway 13 without paying for a whopping $78.23 worth of gasoline.

March 18

An inexperienced driver ran into a fence and utility box on the 1300 block of Sylvandale Road. No injuries were reported.

March 16

A resident on the 1100 block of Sibley Memorial Highway reported her unlocked vehicle had been entered overnight while parked in the garage. A debit card had been stolen and used twice before it was cancelled.

March 15

A home alarm went off on Victoria Road signaling a break-in. One item was reported missing from the home, and police suspect that the burglar was scared off by the alarm.

A student’s prank went awry when a large food delivery order to Henry Sibley was traced back to him and his empty wallet.

March 13

A driver spotted shortly after midnight on Interstate 35E was stopped for speeding and swerving over the fog line. A preliminary breath test measured a blood alcohol level of .14.

A car-egging was reported on Pond View Drive.

March 12

A driver on Highway 13 shortly after bar close was swerving over the fog line and failed to turn on headlights. After failing all the field sobriety tests, the driver was taken to jail and the vehicle was towed.

March 10

A man pumped $40.01 worth of gas into his Denali before driving off from the Holiday on Highway 13 without paying.

March 9

Two Henry Sibley students were cited for offenses after a fight over a boy broke out in the cafeteria.

March 8

Police responded to a home on Rogers Court for a disturbance call. Two individuals were found in a car with suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

A GPS was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked on Hilltop Court.

March 7

A resident on Linden Street reported her purse stolen from a senior housing building.

March 1

Fraudulent parking passes were discovered at Henry Sibley High School. A suspected maker and distributor of the passes was identified.

One student attacked another student in the hallway of Henry Sibley High School, causing minor facial injury. The suspect was cited for the assault.
