Police were called on a couple making a scene at a party on Huber Drive. Both were cited for underage consumption.

Aug. 3

A resident near Friendly Hills Park reported three men stealing landscaping lights. Police pulled over a suspicious vehicle leaving the neighborhood shortly after. A search turned up 32 landscaping lights in the trunk.

Aug. 2

A worker reported his truck stolen from the Lemay Lake neighborhood.

July 31

A motorcycle cut off a driver and ran a stop sign on Highway 13, before pulling into the Holiday Gas Station. The off-duty officer driving two cars back was available to issue appropriate citations.

July 29

A vacant home on Wagon Wheel Trail was reported ransacked. The burglary likely occurred earlier in July.

A resident reported items missing from her garage on the 700 block of 1st Avenue.

Two leaf blowers were reported stolen from the 600 block of Highway 110.

Someone claiming to be a police officer called a business inquiring about an employee. The employee has known problems with an ex-boyfriend, who was suspected of making the call.

July 26

Three juveniles were spotted throwing objects at a property on Vandall Street then running off. The homeowner chased them to a nearby residence, where parents got involved. Three other reports of damage may be related.

A gas drive-off of $99.96 was reported at the Holiday on Sibley Memorial Highway.

July 24

Police received a call of a driving complaint on Garden Lane. The driver had a revoked drivers license and no insurance.

A driver was stopped after swerving over the fog line on Interstate 35E. The driver initially gave police a false name, which didn’t conceal a preliminary blood alcohol level of .18.
