Aug. 9

Someone threw a large rock through a glass door at  and stole three bikes valued at $8,400. The alarm system had malfunctioned.

A resident on the 1300 block of Farmdale Road reported a damaged copper-colored Mongoose bike that had been abandoned across from her home.

Aug. 7

A driver was heading west on I-494 when someone threw a rock off the Delaware Avenue overpass. The rock struck the vehicle’s window. No injuries were reported and no suspect was found.

Someone broke out the window of a vehicle parked at the Lilydale . Several items were stolen.

A U-Haul with a picture of Harriet Tubman on the side filled up with $120 in gas and left the on Highway 110 without paying.

A manager at McDonald’s reported finding a Mike’s Hard Lemonade box with a landscaping brick inside it.

Aug. 4

A roaming dog was reported on the 300 block of E Street. The animal had no collar or tags, and was taken to 4 Paws Animal Control.

Aug. 3

A motorcyclist received minor injuries after an accident with a car at Northland Drive.

Vandalism was reported on a vehicle at . Police determined that items had been stolen from the vehicle.

A motorcyclist was stopped on Highway 13 with his two small children in tow. The children had no helmets or eye protection on. The driver did not see a problem with the situation, but the officer forwarded the information to the city attorney.

Aug. 2

Employees at in Lilydale reported a gas theft. Police determined that the vehicle used was stolen out of Fridley.
