Feb. 27

Police were called to a residence around 10 a.m. for a domestic disturbance. They were able to help a mother convince her child to go to school that day.

Residents on the 2400 block of Morson Avenue reported that after leaving their garage door open, someone stole a GPS from a vehicle.

A vehicle and suspect were identified after a gas drive-off from on Highway 110.

Feb. 22

Two people reported that fraudulent transactions appeared on their bank statements a week after having met for lunch at .

A man reported a window of his vehicle was broken out in the  parking lot during a basketball game.

 

Feb. 19

A police search of a room at the Mendota Heights Motel turned up narcotics and possible stolen goods.

 

Feb. 18

A man on Dodd Road turned and walked the other direction when a police officer appeared. The man was found to have a stolen GPS unit on him.

Police stopped a juvenile male suspected of being out after curfew on the 900 block of Highway 13. The juvenile had been drinking and also happened to have two active warrants.

A television, desktop computer and jewelry were reported stolen from a home on the 1000 block of Chippewa Avenue.

 

Feb. 17

A burglary was reported on the 800 block of Highway 110.

 

Feb. 16

A resident on the 1800 block of Valley Curve Road reported unauthorized transactions on his debit card being made in California.

 

Feb. 15

A passenger vehicle ran a stop sign on Pilot Knob Road, hitting a commercial vehicle. Three people from the passenger vehicle were taken to the hospital.

 

Feb. 13

A suspect drove away from in Lilydale without paying for $27.26 of gas. A letter was sent to the registered owner of the vehicle caught on video.

 

Feb. 12

A resident on the 2200 block of Lexington Avenue reported their car stolen by an acquaintance, described as armed and possibly en-route to Florida.

 

Feb. 11

A police officer assisting a traffic stop on Interstate 35E watched a car speed by without observing the Ted Foss Move Over Law. That driver was in turn pulled over, where they failed field sobriety tests and a preliminary breath test.

 

Feb. 10

A resident on the 2500 block of Lockwood Drive reported a suspicious man who had knocked at the door asking for fuel. The man's vehicle was later found, but the man was not.

 

Feb. 9

An employee of a business was reported for allegedly charging $14,000 on a company card. When confronted, the employee repaid the debt and resigned.

A resident on the 500 block of Simard Street reported items stolen from a vehicle and subsequent fraudulent charges found on credit card statements.

An employee on the 1200 block of Northland Drive went out to his car on his lunch break and found a window of his vehicle broken and electronics stolen. A suspect vehicle was described as a full-size pickup.

A business in The Village reported checks stolen, and was able to trace an unaccounted check to a suspect, who was arrested by the Burnsville Police Department.

 

Jan. 29

The keyholder of a property on the 1800 block of Valley Curve Road reported that the home had been burglarized sometime in the previous three weeks. One of the items missing is a gun.
