June 6

A homeowner on the 1000 block of London Road reported that several items were stolen from his attached garage, likely while his overhead door was open.

A woman’s wallet was found in the restroom garbage at her work. Her driver’s license, credit cards and cash were taken. The credit cards were used at three locations.

Police stopped a vehicle leaving the area of a burglary on Highway 13. Both the driver's and passenger's licenses were suspended. The vehicle was uninsured. Drug paraphernalia and suspected controlled substances were located in the vehicle. The vehicle owner was arrested.

A window was broken at a residence on the 1700 block of James Road. Nothing was taken.

Multiple cars were subject to burglary on the 1000 block of Overlook Road.

A bike was reported stolen from the sidewalk in front of the at The Village.

A teacher at reported an iPhone theft.

A student was found in possession of drug paraphernalia at Henry Sibley High School. He received a citation.

June 3

A man was found to be driving with a suspended license on Wachtler Avenue. The man told police he knew his license was suspended but insisted that he had to go to his last day of work at Applebee’s. The driver also admitted that his vehicle was uninsured. The vehicle was towed and the driver was transported home and received a citation.

May 31

An individual reported being assaulted by the wives of a former and current coworker while leaving .

A  employee was charged for selling alcohol to an underage person during a mandatory compliance check. 

A man admitted to driving while intoxicated on the 2100 block of Lexington Avenue. His vehicle was located in a ditch and had hit a fire hydrant. A preliminary breath test indicated a blood alcohol concentration of .249. 

A driver stopped for a seatbelt violation on Highway 110 was found to have an outstanding warrant out of Grant County. The driver was transported to Dakota County Jail.

A large scratch was noticed on the passenger side of a vehicle. The vehicle owner suspected that his wife, who was served with divorce papers that day, was responsible for the scratch.
