July 15
A Mendota Heights resident reported a suspect attempting to cash checks from his bank account in St. Paul. One check was cashed for $800 before branch locations could be notified.
July 10
A vehicle was broken into on the 1600 block of Lilydale Road.
July 9
Minor damage to mailboxes on the 700 block of Hokah Drive was reported.
BP gas station in Lilydale reported a gas theft of $50.02. The vehicle was found at the address of the registered owner, who said he had lent it to the neighbor at the time of the theft.
July 7
Relatives of a homeowner on the 600 block of Wesley Lane discovered a burglary at the residence. The thief forced open a back door.
A suspect set off the alarm at Tuesday Morning by hiding a towel in their pants.

Gas worth $43.17 was stolen by a driver at the BP gas station in Lilydale. The car was sporting stolen plates out of Scott County.
A woman called police to report her purse had been stolen while she worked in the kitchen of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.
