A driver involved in a car accident resulting in property damage on Delaware Avenue was arrested for DUI.

Oct. 29

Police stopped a vehicle at Dodd Road and Marie Avenue after seeing the driver and a passenger were not wearing seatbelts. The driver had been drinking, the passenger was in possession of marijuana, and both were cited for open container violations, in addition to their seatbelt tickets.

A possible domestic was reported at the Mendota Heights Motel. Police found three underage drinkers. Citations were issued, and two were transported home. The third was taken to detox.

A man was caught after several residents of Furlong Avenue reported seeing him ducking in and out of private yards and acting strangely. He was cited for disorderly conduct.

A vehicle left on southbound 35E after pumping $20.01 of gas at the Holiday Stationstore on Highway 13 and not paying for it.

Oct. 17

A driver was stopped on Dodd Road for not wearing a seatbelt. His license check came back as suspended, and he had warrants in Chisago and Rice counties.

A man showed up at a residence on Aztec Lane shortly after 11 p.m. claiming he was being chased and needed help. When police arrived, they determined that the man, who had abandoned his vehicle in the middle of the road, was under the influence of narcotics and delusional. The man was taken to the hospital.

Police noticed a car parked at after hours. Two passengers were cited for alcohol consumption and taken to the police station. The driver was sober, but received a talking to.

A resident on the 700 block of Ridge Place returned home to find a door forced open and two TVs missing.

Oct. 15

Cash was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Kingsley Court.

Oct. 13

A stereo and subwoofer were reported stolen from a locked car on the 2300 block of Lexington Avenue. Police believe an unlocking tool was used to open the door.
