June 20

A burglar was spotted entering at 2:20 a.m. The suspect and his liquor loot escaped in a van before police arrived.

A resident called to report a suspicious vehicle on Abbey Way. The two teen occupants of the vehicle were cited for curfew violation.

A gas theft was reported at . The vehicle in question had recently been sold by a dealership, who passed on the new owner’s contact information.

June 18

Police responded to a home where one of the residents had given out personal information to a phishing scheme. The banks had already been notified.

A ring was reported stolen after the owner accidently left it beside a sink on the 1200 block of Northland Drive.

A man with mental health diagnoses was reported for shattering a neighbor’s glass window and running down the street naked. The man was Tased and brought to United Hospital for treatment.

June 16

A female driver was cited for drinking under the age of 21 after she and her vehicle were found in the ditch of Wentworth Avenue.

A resident of Maple Park Drive reported his mailbox stolen. It had been pulled from the ground and was eventually found.

A gas theft was reported at Super America on Highway 110. The registered owner of the vehicle was contacted by phone.

A girl’s iPod was stolen at a graduation party on Mendakota Court. She found the phone broken into pieces in the yard.

June 15

A burglary was reported in the 1300 block of Third Avenue. The suspect may be local.

June 13

An officer making the rounds was approached by a man that wanted to turn in some keys he found by Highway 13 and Lilydale Road. One of the keys was for a Saturn.

A man reported a car window broken on the 2000 block of Centre Pointe Boulevard.

June 11

A clerk at the was robbed at gunpoint. The suspects took cash from the till and fled. 

MHPD responded to Burnsville to help out a park ranger. Two people parked in a lot after hours were cited for the booze and marijuana found in the vehicle.

A car was broken into on Mendota Heights Road. Nothing of value was in the vehicle and nothing was stolen.

The contents of a mailbox were damaged by an “explosive” made of vinegar and tinfoil inside a water bottle. No damage was done to the mailbox.

June 10

Eight people were reported for fighting at the on Mendota Heights Road.  Police pulled over a vehicle leaving the scene that was carrying two friends that had started the fight. After the two parties and a mother were conferred with, no charges were filed.
