Mendota Heights PD Blotter: Christmas Day Adderall Abuse Suspected

Dec. 25

A driver was stopped on Lexington Avenue after turning right on red without stopping. The driver had been drinking and was underage. An open container was in the vehicle.

Two women acting oddly at were reported for suspicion of drug use. Police found a bottle of Adderall on one of them.

Dec. 24

A woman left her purse in a booth at , and when she returned to find it, it was gone. The theft was caught on video.

Dec. 21

A box of checks was reported stolen from a mailbox on Summit Lane.  A number of fraudulent checks had been written.

Dec. 20

A car break-in was reported on Lilydale Road.

Dec. 17

The rear passenger window of a vehicle was reported broken out at Henry Sibley High School. Two bags with personal items were reported stolen.

Dec. 15

A resident on the 700 block of Mohican Lane returned home and found a side door forced open. Nothing appeared stolen on first inspection.

A weaving driver was stopped on Highway 13 and given field sobriety tests.  A breath test determined a blood alcohol level of .16.

Dec. 13

One person was injured in a three-car accident on Mendota Heights Road.

Two doors were reported stolen from a construction site in the industrial park.

Electronics were reported stolen from the 1600 block of Dodd Road.

Dec. 12

Mail containing a check and a credit card account number was reported stolen from the 2100 block of Aztec Lane.
