Mendota Heights officers went to the business, where a vehicle matching the stolen vehicle’s description entered the parking lot. A man exited the driver’s seat of the vehicle and went into the business. Officers took the man into custody when he walked out of the business.

At first, the man allegedly denied being Brooks, but he was later identified by his Louisiana driver’s license.
