Blush Salon and MOMS Club Team Up

Blush Salon (Lilydale) and the Mendota Heights MOMS Club teamed up yesterday (Wednesday, June 26) for a great cause! Altogether 59 inches of hair was cut from five moms and one daughter.  The hair will be sent by each mom to one of three locations:  Locks of Love, Pantene Beautiful Lengths, or Caring and Comfort Wig Makers in Highland Park.  Each company makes wigs for cancer patients.

Some participants were nervous going into it, some we very excited because of the summer heat, and some a little sad after growing their hair for years -- all came away feeling great about the fabulous haircuts provided by stylists, Lori Meents and Erin Buckley at Blush!

Blush also surprised the moms with complimentary mini-manicures offered by Jessie Pease which was a real treat for the busy moms.  All participants enjoyed chocolate chip cookies and homemade strawberry shortcake provided by one of the moms.

A huge thank you to Lori Meents, owner of Blush, and her staff for the incredible hospitality and spending time helping make each person feel beautiful!

What a great way to help those in need and get a little pampered at the same time!
