Recycle Your Lights at City Hall

Residents can drop off unwanted lights through Jan. 31.

Did you unpack your holiday decorations only to find strings of dead lights? Thankfully, there’s no need to throw them away since you can recycle them right at Mendota Heights City Hall.

ProAct, Inc., working with the Recycling Association of Minnesota’sRecycle Your Holidays” program, will accept lights, electrical cords and phone cords at City Hall through Jan. 31. Cord adopters, battery packs, plastic rope lights or CFL lights will not be accepted.
