Saturday, June 16, Friends of Lilydale Park will host a monarch station at the Science Museum's annual Entomology Day. Family friendly activiites with opportunities to explore and learn about the 1.3+ million species of insects on earth. All ages welcome! Get curious, come learn & explore the world of insects. Enjoy family-friendly activities such as making butterfly rings, learning about dragonflies, viewing insects under microscopes, and more.

Friends of Lilydale Park's monarch station will provide you with an opportunity to examine milkweed, look at eggs and instars (caterpillars) up close, swap monarch stories, learn about the monarch's life cycle and amazing migration journey each year from Minnesota to Mexico and back.
