Free Family Fishing Event @ Pickerel Lake / Lilydale Park Sat, June 9, 9am-Noon

Fishing! 6.9, 9am-12 @ Pickerel Lake, Lilydale Park. Friends of Lilydale Park & Nat'l Park Service: Lessons, rods, reels to use; canoe rides. MN adults w/ youth 16 & younger fish w/o license.

Let's go fishing! You're invited by Friends of Lilydale Park & the Nat'l Park Service to do just that next Sat, June 9, 9am-Noon on Pickerel Lake in Lilydale Regional Park. Nat'l Park Service Rangers will be on hand to provide instruction; rods and reels will be available for use. Canoe rides too. Or, bring your own gear.

This annual event has been a very enjoyable, terrific way to spend a Saturday morning. MN adults may fish w/o a license that morning when accompanying youth 16 or younger.
