Community Ed Mosaic Sampler Class

It’s time to add some color to your world with stained glass.  This updated technique of the ancient art form is fun and easy to do, even the most art-challenged will go home with an original art project that they can be proud of. This is a great opportunity for a girl’s nite-out while creating a wonderful piece of original, functional art for your home. Brighten your day with an 8.5”xll” window that is brilliant as the sun shines thru it.  Or lite the night with a classic 9” tall square cylinder table top light that is beautiful in any room.

 The 1st night all the prep work is finished and you can select a design (or bring one from home) and start the mosaic process right away; it is fast and easy to do for everyone.  If you do not finish, you will have homework before the next class.

 The 2nd night is messy grouting so please wear old clothes and bring some old terry cloth towels and a small container with lid. We will watch the grout do it’s magic and complete your art-piece, plus go over glass cutting, resources and other mosaic projects that you now can do on your own. Please indicate your project choice when you register. A material fee is payable to the instructor at the first class: window = $15; lamp = $25.
