Brown College Family Wellness Week Health Fair

Did you know physically fit children have a 2.4 times greater chance of passing math tests and a twice as great of a chance to pass reading tests compared to their less fit peers? Or that children with healthy diets perform better in school than children with unhealthy diets?

Brown College knows it can be tough to keep the whole family focused on healthy habits. That’s why the Brown campus is one of 20 locations nationwide participating in the school’s Family Wellness Week. The mission is simple: to empower families to live healthy lifestyles.

On Wednesday, July 31, children and their moms, dads, grandparents and their pets in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area are invited to take advantage of free healthcare screenings and educational activities: free health screenings and fitness activities for the kids and information on eating healthy with nutrition tips for families.
